11 people have been shot and one person has died in an overnight shooting in Minnesota.
The shooting occurred late Saturday night/Sunday morning at 12:37 a.m. when multiple 911 calls were made regarding numerous people being shot on the 2900 block of Hennepin Avenue South.
The shooting was done by more than one person, according to the Minneapolis Police Department, and the suspects reportedly approached the crime scene on foot.

“Police arrived and located several people suffering from gunshot wounds,” the Minneapolis Police Department said. “Multiple ambulances responded and transported victims to Hennepin County Medical Center. Others were transported to area hospitals in private vehicles.”
With a total of 12 victims in the incident and 1 adult male dead at the hospital this is another tragic day in 2020 USA.

Authorities have not yet stated exactly how many shooters were involved but say that the suspects fled and are currently on the run.

The Minneapolis Police Department have not yet disclosed a possible motive for the attack. but the investigation is ongoing and videos of the crime scene are also being reviewed.
The identity of the adult male victim who died is expected to be released in the coming days.
No one is in custody at this time and authorities have not provided a description of the suspects yet.
